Our solutions include PTC's Creo, Windchill, Navigate, and related digital transformation technologies serving customers across aerospace, defense, medical device, industrial equipment, high-tech manufacturing, and other discrete manufacturing industries.This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who knows how to build strong salespeople, create accountability, improve pipeline discipline, and help close complex enterprise software opportunities.You will lead a team responsible for selling CAD, PLM, professional services, subscriptions, and related technology solutions while working closely with company leadership, technical consultants, applications engineers, marketing, and PTC.We are looking for someone who can coach the team, strengthen our sales process, and drive measurable revenue growth.<h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">What You'll Do</h2><h3>Lead and Develop the Sales Team</h3><ul><li>Direct, coach, and develop a team of enterprise software sales professionals</li><li>Establish clear expectations, activity standards, quotas, and performance goals</li><li>Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, forecast reviews, and deal strategy sessions</li><li>Coach sales representatives on prospecting, discovery, qualification, presentations, negotiations, and closing</li><li>Identify performance gaps and create actionable development plans</li><li>Help recruit, onboard, and develop new sales team members as the company grows</li></ul><h3>Drive Revenue Growth</h3><ul><li>Own team performance against revenue, bookings, subscription, and services targets</li><li>Build and execute sales strategies designed to expand both new and existing accounts</li><li>Help representatives identify and pursue high-value opportunities within discrete manufacturing</li><li>Support complex and strategic opportunities throughout the sales cycle</li><li>Participate directly in important customer meetings, presentations, negotiations, and closing conversations</li><li>Develop strategies for account growth, renewals, cross-selling, and professional services opportunities</li></ul><h3>Improve Sales Execution</h3><ul><li>Maintain strong pipeline discipline and accurate forecasting</li><li>Ensure opportunities are properly qualified and progressing through the sales process</li><li>Use Salesforce CRM to track activity, pipeline, forecasts, and performance</li><li>Establish repeatable sales processes and best practices across the team</li><li>Monitor sales metrics and use data to identify opportunities for improvement</li><li>Help improve territory planning, prospecting strategies, account penetration, and conversion rates</li></ul><h3>Work Across the Organization</h3><ul><li>Partner closely with Applications Engineers and Technical Consultants during demonstrations, discovery, and solution development</li><li>Coordinate with marketing on lead generation campaigns, webinars, events, and targeted outreach</li><li>Work with company leadership on growth strategy, forecasting, hiring, and market expansion</li><li>Build strong relationships with PTC and other strategic technology partners</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">What We're Looking For</h2><ul><li>7+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, engineering technology, CAD, PLM, ERP, MES, or related solutions</li><li>3+ years of sales directing or sales leadership experience</li><li>Demonstrated success leading teams to achieve or exceed revenue targets</li><li>Experience selling into manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organizations strongly preferred</li><li>Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders</li><li>Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and account development</li><li>Ability to coach both experienced sales professionals and developing team members</li><li>Strong prospecting and new-business-development mindset</li><li>Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Top Down Selling, Challenger, or similar approaches</li><li>Strong CRM discipline; Salesforce experience preferred</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills</li><li>Professional presence and credibility when working with executives and technical decision-makers</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote environment</li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred</li></ul>Experience with PTC, Creo, Windchill, PLM, CAD, or engineering software is highly valuable but not required for an exceptional enterprise technology sales leader.<h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">The Kind of Leader We're Looking For</h2>We are not looking for a manager who simply reviews reports and asks for bigger numbers.We want someone who gets involved.Someone who can look at a pipeline and see where a deal is stuck.
